I’m Noemi (pronounced No-emmy) and I’m an illustrator and a Medical Laboratory Assistant/Technician (MLA/T).
Science and art were always my favourite subjects in school. I have always enjoyed trying to blend the two subjects; it wasn’t until I finished my studies that I found science communication and scientific visualizations. Now I enjoy talking about and broadening my knowledge about different topics in the fields of science, graphic design, and illustration, as well as sharing my personal experiences in the medical lab field through this blog and through illustrations.
When I’m not trying to convince everyone that art and science are cool, I enjoy cozy gaming (gaming ig: @cozynoems), getting new PRs in the gym, and watching horror movies.
