Met our new manager today. Our regional manager was there to help break the ice and give a brief introduction about us to her during our one-on-ones.
I’m not the best when it comes to responding to compliments. So, having the RM saying such nice things about me and then shifting that conversation to saying I have a career in this company really took me off guard. How do you respond to that??? I didn’t think I’d be in this industry for over 2 years, and now someone higher up is saying I can stay even longer???
